Global Warming is caused by man.

Dr. Tim Barnett, of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California and his team examined more than seven million observations of temperature, salinity and other variables in the world’s oceans, collected by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and compared the patterns with those that are predicted by computer models of various potential causes of climate change. This study found that not natural variations in the Earth’s climate, solar activity, or volcanic eruptions could explain this new data which was collected in the real world. Models based on man-made greenhouse gas emissions matched this study precisely. Two of these greenhouse models were designed, one in Great Britain and one in the United States, and they matched exactly. Peter Stott from the Met Office in the UK, and his colleagues have also compared the temperatures above land and on the surface of the sea level and have found that the air above land was heating up much quicker than that of the surface of the sea. This is inconsistent with a natural fluctuation because they are usually characterized by a rise in ocean temperature.

Rhetoric. That should be the title of your last post. I tried to make my case as black and white as I could, with fact upon fact. I gave you scientific computer models and teams of doctors who've been studying Global Warming for their whole adult lives. You give me a glimpse of the personality of America and questions about summer movies. It's telling when you dodge the facts of "An Inconvenient Truth" and equate Al Gore's movie style with a high school indy film maker. Personally, I don't care how the movie is made as long as it gets the TRUTH out there. You ask me why President Bush wouldn't sign the Kyoto Treaty. Maybe it would hurt the very business men that put him in office in the first place. The sanctions put in place by the Kyoto Treaty might level the playing field with the rest of world and we wouldn't want that. You don't bite the hand the feeds you as they say. I'm going to leave you with one question (and when I say one, I mean one, not 3 or 4 like your last post). Why don't you give me the facts upon facts of the reasons why global warming is a myth and leave the rhetoric to your right wing talk show hosts?
